Privacy
An honest account of what this tool stores and what the servers involved can see. No account is required.
Your test history is local
Your saved tests are stored only in this browser on this device, inlocalStorage. We keep at most the 20 most recent tests. Nothing is uploaded to a remote database unless you explicitly export and share it yourself.
You can delete a single test, clear all history, or download a CSV at any time. Clearing your browser storage removes it permanently.
What the test requests reveal
Each check is a normal HTTPS request from your browser to our test endpoint. Like any website visit, the server receiving that request can see your IP address (so it knows where to send the response back), the time of the request, and basic browser headers.
We do not promise that servers “never see IP addresses” — that would be false. The request carries a random, per-check nonce that is meaningless outside that single check. We do not collect, store, or export your IP address, precise location, or any identifier as part of your test history.
Hosting-provider logs
This site is hosted on infrastructure that, like essentially all web hosting, may keep server logs for operation, security, and abuse prevention. Those logs are controlled by the hosting provider, not by this tool, and are separate from your local browser history.
What exports contain
CSV and report exports include your test metrics, timestamps, duration, endpoint, and any label you typed. They exclude IP addresses, precise locations, secrets, and identifiers. Labels you enter are sanitized and protected against CSV formula injection.
No account, no tracking we add
There is no signup, login, payment, camera, microphone, or location permission. We do not add our own advertising trackers or analytics. If advertising is enabled in the future, it will be clearly labeled and kept separate from measurement.
